Mark Hendel,MSW
Executive Director
Mark Hendel, MSW, is the founder and director of Ability Senior Care. Mark’s dedication and passion for working with the elderly was shaped by his upbringing. He was raised in a multi-generational household with two handicapped grandparents. Mark brings a deep and personal understanding of the physical, emotional and financial challenges that can overwhelm seniors and their families.
Mark has dedicated his career to helping seniors confronting placement. He earned his Masters Degree of Social Work from the State University of New York at Stony Brook after graduating from the State University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has worked as a Medical Social Worker in many facets of the healthcare field including Hospital Case Management, Hospice, Home Health Social Work, and as an ALTCS Case Manager.

Stefanie is a graduate of The University of Wisconsin-Madison, and has extensive experience in eldercare. As the co-founder of Ability, Stefanie has been instrumental in developing the systems and practices that have led to our highly respected reputation within the healthcare community. Stefanie’s keen eye is focused on the details, as our internal operations are maintained above the highest standards. This commitment ensures our clients will always receive exceptional services.
Margaret Wade
Administrative Assistant
Since 2005, Margaret has been working in healthcare in Arizona. She has adeptly applied her knowledge and skills of healthcare to our agency. She is driven to helping the most vulnerable among us, and is passionate about assisting seniors with the goal of achieving the best possible outcomes.

Dorothy Balser, MSW
Placement Consultant
Dorothy has spent more than a decade working as a social worker for the most vulnerable members of society. This includes the elderly, refugees, children at risk, and adults suffering from mental illness. Dorothy’s diverse background in the field of human services has been a valuable asset to our team.
